We went to the doctor just to confirm that I was definitely pregnant and scheduled my first appointment and ultrasound. In the meantime, we had to tell people! My mom found out the night we did because I couldn't help it. She's my best friend, I HAVE to tell her things. Sorry Mama I didn't come up with a creative way to tell you. However, we went to see Jade's dad and stepmom and they got to open a present. Inside was a pair of Alabama booties.

n so I made my mom promise not to tell him. When he got back in town, we had lunch and he got to open a pair of Auburn booties! Woo hoo! War Eagle! But before he even opened the present, I had written on the card, "Pop and Mimi, I can't wait to watch a game with you!" Daddy looked at me and said, "Are you pregnant?" He started tearing up and of course I did too. It was a very good lunch date!
A couple of weeks after we found out, we went to visit Pappy and Mammy. Of course, they already knew but we had to have something for them to open as well. They got to open an Auburn bib. This child already has more Auburn stuff than Alabama. I'm loving that!
