8 days and counting....
In eight days we will find out the sex of our baby (hopefully). I am so anxious I can barely stand it. Needless to say, I am impatiently waiting for December 20th to get here and believe me, it can't get here fast enough. I am finally starting to see a baby bump. Today I am 18 weeks so it's about time. So far, my pregnancy has been great. I've had no sickness only a migraine that lasted about four days, other than that, I am doing great. Just can't wait to see our baby next week and know that everything is alright. Till then....

Girls Annual Christmas Party
Last week we had our annual Christmas party. I am just amazed that we have carried this tradition on for this long. I am so happy that I have 5 close friends from high school that I am in contact with still. Anyway, this year the party was at Allison's new house. We enjoyed our time together, like always. It's so neat that Autumn, Ashley and I are all pregnant at the
same time. Next year, instead of having 2 kids there will be 5. Our numbers are growing. Hopefully, there will be more on the way by then. At the party, I was 17 weeks along, Autumn was 20 weeks and Ashley was 33 weeks. Miss Kelsi
will be here before we know it. I can't wait to meet her and spoil her to pieces!! Merry Christmas!

Telling the Grandparents

We went to the doctor just to confirm that I was definitely pregnant and scheduled my first appointment and ultrasound. In the meantime, we had to tell people! My mom found out the night we did because I couldn't help it. She's my best friend, I HAVE to tell her things. Sorry Mama I didn't come up with a creative way to tell you. However, we went to see Jade's dad and stepmom and they got to open a present. Inside was a pair of Alabama booties.
Papa Dan and Nana Jan are very excited!
My dad was out of tow
n so I made my mom promise not to tell him. When he got back in town, we had lunch and he got to open a pair of Auburn booties! Woo hoo! War Eagle! But before he even opened the present, I had written on the card, "Pop and Mimi, I can't wait to watch a game with you!" Daddy looked at me and said, "Are you pregnant?" He started tearing up and of course I did too. It was a very good lunch date!A couple of weeks after we found out, we went to visit Pappy and Mammy. Of course, they already knew but we had to have something for them to open as well. They got to open an Auburn bib. This child already has more Auburn stuff than Alabama. I'm loving that!
We are so BLESSED!
Jade and I found out a few weeks ago that God is blessing us with our first child around May 15th. We are so excited! A little bit about how we found out... It was almost time for my monthly "friend" to come, but I just had a feeling that I might be pregnant, so I took a test. I called Jade into the bathroom and said what does this look like to you?? His face just lit up. He said, "It's a plus, does plus mean pregnant?" Me being the way I am, I said that the plus looked a little faint so I didn't want to get my hopes up. We had to go to dinner that night with some family, so we said we would get another test on the way home. So, we did and it said PREGNANT!

A House Divided

Well, it's about that time again and as you can see, we are a house divided. We are so excited about college football beginning this weekend. Although, Auburn and Alabama are playing at the same time on Saturday. Alabama is on pay per view and I told Jade that solved it because why would we pay to watch Alabama play, we'll just watch Auburn. He didn't like that idea very much. Have a great and safe weekend everyone! War Eagle!!
