Yummy!

Sawyer had his first ever popsicle Sunday night and he loved it! We were outside and I was pulling him in his wagon when we heard the ice cream truck. I went inside to get some money and Jade. I got a fudge popsicle and Jade got some kind of jolly rancher popsicle and that's what Sawyer had some of. I bet this will be the first of many popsicles for my sweet little boy!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday, we got up and went to the Sunrise service at our church and the men cooked breakfast, so we ate afterwards. Then we went home to see what the Easter bunny brought and to get ready for the 11:00 service. After church, we went to my parents house to eat lunch with all my brothers and their families.

Thank you God for sending your son to die on the cross for our sins. This is really what Easter is all about, His resurrection. We serve an awesome God!

The Easter Bunny Came...

Sawyer got his first visit from the Easter bunny! His basket was filled with a new sippy cup, pacifiers, bubbles, sunglasses, swimsuit, two Easter books, a sing along CD and some magnets to play with on the fridge. I put a few plastic Easter eggs in his basket for decoration and of course, that was his favorite part. He grabbed them and they went straight to his mouth. He had a great first Easter!

Sawyer's 1st trip to Santuck

We had a very busy weekend! It started off with a trip to Santuck for my mom, Sawyer, and me. Jade played in a golf tournament with his dad so we decided to go to Santuck. We got there around 8:00 a.m. and only walked through one field on one side of the road. By then, it was time for Sawyer's bottle and nap. He did get a few outfits, a Mickey Mouse DVD, and lots of attention! We had a blast! By the time we got home, I was exhausted.

Also, I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JADE! His 31st birthday was on Saturday. He is such an amazing husband and father. I thank GOD for him every day! We love you!

Nana came by on her lunch yesterday and took Sawyer for a ride in his wagon. He is sporting his new hat from his Aunt Johnette and looking very handsome in it! Thanks Aunt Johnette! He loves his wagon!

Apparently, Sawyer likes driving Papaw Dan's truck because every time he sends me a picture of Sawyer, it's of him standing in the driver's seat of his truck holding on to the steering wheel. Haha! He is such a mess and so blessed to be loved by so many!

Last Sunday, we went to my parents house to visit for a little while. We haven't seen Addison in a few weeks so it was really nice to spend some time with her. She has been sick and I was so glad to see that she was feeling much better. Sawyer and Addison just ooohhhed and aahhed over one another. It was the cutest thing!
