Not a Happy Camper

So, today I called JCPenney to check on the baby's furniture to see if it had been shipped because when I called last week when it was supposed to be shipped out, it wasn't. Today, when I called they told me that the furniture was no longer available. NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!!! Can you believe that? No one even bothered to call and let me know so now I have to start all over. The only problem is my time is more limited now. I only have 10 more weeks to go, give or take a couple. So, needless to say, today has NOT been my day. Well, gotta get back to shopping for new furniture...

29 Week Check-up

I started my two week appointments this week. It was a very short visit. This was the first appointment I've went to alone. No big deal, it only lasted 15 minutes. I got to hear his heartbeat, the ultrasound tech said he was facing into me so his back was turned to the camera. They checked my weight and measured me and I'm measuring right along with my week. I've gained 10 lbs so far, but I feel like I'm getting bigger by the day.

The weirdest thing happened the other day. I got home from work and laid down for a few minutes because I was so tired and I was laying on my right side. All of a sudden, I got really uncomfortable and I stood up and looked down at my belly and the right side of it was poking out. It was so freaky! So, I went to find Jade and showed him and he thought it was the neatest thing. I guess the baby's head or butt was poking out, but it was very uncomfortable! Anyway, just thought I would share that. 27 Week Check-up

Today ended my monthly appointments, from now on, I will go to the doctor every two weeks. Jade was so disappointed that he was unable to go this morning because of work. Let me just say that this was the MOST amazing appointment so far because we did the 3D ultrasound. The ultrasound tech said that she would do the 3D whenever he was positioned right. Last visit, he had his back turned to us so this morning I drank a little caffeine to make him a little more active. I hated Jade couldn't be there, but Mama got to go. She said that he looked like me! What a great Valentine's Day gift!

Happy Valentine's day to the love of my life! Jade, I am so blessed to have you in my life. God has blessed us in so many ways and continues to bless us. Next year, we will have another Valentine in our lives. I can't wait to meet our little boy, hope he is just as sweet as his Daddy!

We've Registered!

Jade and I have registered at Target. We had so much fun registering. I'd point to an item and Jade would scan it. He probably had more fun scanning than anything else. It was so exciting seeing and picking out the things we'll get to use in just a few short months. Time is flying by!

Also, I've registered at babysupermall.com online. This is where the bedding and decor is for our sweet baby boy's nursery.

By George, I think we have a NAME!!

Jade and I have been debating over names for months now. We had a girls name picked out, that was no problem, but a boys name was a different story altogether. I've never really had a name that I just loved and always wanted to name my little boy one day. So this was very hard for me. Jade likes the name Bryant. Let me say that I don't hate this name, but living in the state of Alabama only one thing comes to my mind when I hear it......Coach Bear Bryant from the University of Alabama. Now, if you know me, you know that I am a HUGE Auburn fan!! What can I say? My Daddy raised me right. The name I really like is Hudson and of course Jade doesn't like it. So, to keep it fair, we decided to not name the baby Bryant or Hudson. We have to start completely over. And we came up with..........
