Sawyer's 1st Beach Trip

Not quite sure what to think

Last weekend was Sawyer's first beach trip. We left on Thursday and headed down to Gulf Shores. My parents went with us and they were a huge help. Sawyer did great on the way down there, I was afraid he might get too fussy, but he slept most of the way.

Friday, Mama and I went to the outlet mall and left the boys at the condo. We had a great time and found lots of good deals. Friday night, we went to eat at the Oyster House and it was yummy!

Sawyer got to go to the beach on Saturday. He wasn't quite sure what to think, he was just trying to take it all in. The rest of the time we just relaxed and enjoyed our time together. can't wait till next year's beach trip. I know Sawyer is really going to enjoy it when he gets a little older!

Sweet potatoes, no thank you!

Last Wednesday, September 21st, Sawyer tried baby food for the first time. We decided to give him a vegetable first so sweet potatoes is what we chose. As you can see, he was not having it at all. Since then, we have tried a few more times to spoon feed him and he is just not taking to it as well as I hoped. So, we're gonna give it a rest for a few weeks, then try again and maybe he'll be ready then.

Jennifer's Baby Shower

On August 20th, we gave Jennifer (and Addison Grace) a shower. Aunt Deb and I had a blast planning it and it turned out beautifully! Jenn and Addi Grace got lots of good stuff. Can't wait to meet that precious little girl!

War Eagle or Roll Tide

Jade and I bought a new camera so I thought we would try it out on our precious little boy in this bucket that was given to us as a wedding gift. He is such a happy baby! Jade and I are going to have a hard time during football season because of course he wants Sawyer to be a Bama fan and I want him to be an Auburn fan. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Sawyer decides....
