3 Months

He loves watching cartoons with Daddy on Saturday morning!

He loves this little dog. It sings its ABC's and he just laughs and laughs...

I can't believe my little man is 3 months old already. A few things about him:

1. He LOVES bath time! Loves to splash around and play.
2. He enjoys looking in the mirror. He things it's the funniest thing ever!
3. He can hold his head up really well. We're still working with him to get his neck muscles stronger when he's laying on his tummy. He gets a little frustrated sometimes but he's doing great.
4. He is pretty much sleeping through the night. He gets a little cereal in his nighttime bottle and that'll usually last him all night.
5. We weighed him the other night and he is almost 16 lbs. Such a little chunk!
6. His hair is falling out but he still has plenty and his eyes are still blue!

Just a few things about Sawyer this month!

A Day at the Pool

Today was Sawyer's first time getting in the swimming pool. I don't think he knew what to thihk. He loves taking a bath so we figured he would love the pool too. He just sat there and kinda relaxed. I think Jade and I were more excited than he was. We wanted to test it out since we are going to the beach next month. Can't wait for a vacation wih my little family!

Date Night

Jade and I had a date night a couple of weeks ago. We went out to eat at the Irish Bred Pub in Opelika. We had never been there before so we thought we would try it. We had a nice dinner, but I missed my baby boy!

Sawyer's 1st Hospital Visit

What was supposed to be a fun weekend turned into a not so fun weekend. Charity came to visit on Friday and we had an exciting weekend planned. That night, we had a shrimp boil, played with Sawyer and gave him a bath. Saturday morning, we got up and were getting ready to go to the pool when Charity realized she couldn't rub her lips together. Then, she realized she couldn't close her left eye. She went on the the ER while I waited on my mom to get there so she could watch Sawyer. Turns out, it was bells palsy and she was given a steroid and an anti-viral prescription. Her dad came and picked her up so that was the end of our visit.

Sunday was probably the scariest day of my life so far. Sawyer fell out of his bouncy seat onto his face. I put him in his seat to watch his Baby Einstein dvd and went into the kitchen to do something and all of a sudden and heard this thud and screaming. Jade was in the bed so I started screaming for him to come here. I was so scared. We called the doctor and the nurse told us to see if we could get him to calm down and not let him go to sleep. Well, he started to calm down and fell asleep and then I couldn't wake him up so we decided to go ahead and take him to the ER. They did a CT scan to see if he had any broken bones in his face or bleeding in his brain. Luckily, he didn't have either one. He is such a strong little boy and I love him more than anything. All i can say is we serve an awesome God and He continues to bless us!
