In February, we took a much needed trip to the mountains for a few nights. My brother Tanner and his wife Jennifer went with us. We went to the Dixie Stampede for the first time ever and it was amazing. We had a BLAST! Jenn and I got to go shopping at the outlet malls while Tanner and Jade went to Cade's Cove to see how many deer they could see. Can't wait to go back!

Birthday Blast

Spending the night in Birmingham with Auntie Deb and Uncle Rick. They took me out to eat for my birthday to Habanero's. Then, we came back to their apartment for cookie cake and ice cream. They are so good to me! I love you both!

My birthday

Yesterday, I celebrated my 26th birthday and I would just like to say that I have the best family and friends a girl could ask for. My husband is the sweetest man I know (besides my Daddy, of course). He surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a very sweet card, and a necklace from Tiffany & Co. Also, he cooked me dinner because we decided to stay in instead of going out; 1) We've both had family in the hospital for the past week so we've been back and forth every day to Opelika and 2) The restaurant I wanted to go to is closed on Mondays. But I was just as happy as I could be to have a quiet night in with my hubby. Then for dessert, my mom surprised me with a homemade strawberry cake! Yummy! Love you Mama! I am so blessed to have such great people on my life.

We decided to go to an all inclusive resort for our honeymoon and we LOVED it! I would recommend doing that to anyone. We had a blast and met a lot of really nice people.

Our Wedding Day

Jade and I got married on October 3, 2009 at Lake Martin Baptist Church in Dadeville. It was a beautiful ceremony. I am so thankful that God brought Jade into my life. He is my best friend, my soul mate and my love! These are just a few of my favorites from our wedding day!
